Cyber Security Analyst
About the job
We're looking for a highly qualified and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal applicant should have at least 5-6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and be prepared to work a shift rotation schedule that runs 24/7. This position requires a proactive person with good analytical skills and a thorough awareness of cyber risks and vulnerabilities.
Job instructions
- To mitigate possible threats, monitor, evaluate, and respond to security warnings and occurrences on a timely basis.
- Conduct regular security evaluations and audits to detect vulnerabilities and flaws in systems, networks, and applications.
- Provide early detection, identification, and warning of potential attacks/intrusions, abnormal activity, and misuse activities, while distinguishing these incidents and events from benign ones.
- Use cyber technologies to continuously monitor and analyze the system for malicious activity.
- Document, analyze, and escalate situations that may have an ongoing and urgent impact on the environment.
- Collaborate with enterprise-wide cybersecurity personnel to validate security warnings.
- Provide brief reports on security events and activities relevant to cyber practices.
- Prepare incident reports for high-severity situations.
