Cyber Security Analyst
About the job
- The Cyber Security Analyst is a member of Availity's Security Operations Center, in charge of protecting the company's online and corporate networks.
- This position is a part of Availity's security incident response team (SIRT), which conducts incident and forensic investigations across all Availity organizations.
- This function is part of a 24x7x365 work effort, thus you may be needed to work after hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
Job instructions
- A SIEM is used to monitor information security warnings from firewalls, IDS, operating systems, antivirus software, servers, and other security tools.
- Level 1 intrusion detection for network, application, and infrastructure devices.
- Detect and document network irregularities.
- Participate as a member of the incident response team.
- Maintain or aid in preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all data in physical and/or electronic form.
- Support cyber security activities with predictive and reactive analysis.
