About the job
- Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins to make your websites unique and functional.
- Collaborate with designers to turn website designs into responsive WordPress themes.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows coding standards and best practices.
- Improve website performance by using caching, minification, and other performance-enhancing strategies.
- Ensure website compatibility across several browsers and devices.
- Troubleshoot and address website issues such as bugs, compatibility problems, and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform rigorous testing on websites to discover and resolve any usability or functionality concerns.
- Stay current on the newest WordPress and web development trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Provide technical assistance and direction to clients and internal organizations.
- Collaborate with project managers to fulfill deadlines and produce high-quality results
Job instructions
- Experience with major WordPress frameworks and page builders (such as Genesis Framework, Elementor, and Divi).
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries (such as React and Vue.js).
- Experience with version control systems (such as Git).
- Experience with website hosting and server maintenance.
- Understanding UX/UI concepts and best practices.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Sketch).
