Plumber
About the job
- The complete plumbing system, including the waste-vent-water piping, valves, and the many fixtures and equipment it serves, should be maintained, repaired, adjusted, and replaced.
- Visual inspections should be carried out to identify aberrant behavior and address any shortcomings.
- Obtain work orders, then schedule your tasks according to the supervisor's or manager's timetable.
- Calculate the time and materials needed for the task at hand.
- Keep the workspace and its tools tidy and organized while adhering to the established safety guidelines.
Job instructions
- Answer calls for rapid assistance with plumbing issues from facilities departments.
- Address emergency call-in circumstances
- Work together with department and facility personnel in any emergency involving internal clients, guests, and employees.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on associated equipment that the supervisor has designated.
- Possess the supplies and instruments required to maintain, fix, or swap out broken equipment
- Assist other department staff members with a variety of tasks.
- As directed by the supervisor, do daily rounds of the facility and any associated equipment.
- Understand the most recent safety rules.
- Attend all staff training and safety meetings as scheduled.
