About the job
We are looking for a 7-year veteran who is a very talented and experienced video editor to join our creative team. The perfect applicant will be meticulous, have a great sense of narrative, and be well-versed in the procedures involved in producing videos. As a video editor, it will be your job to put together footage that has been recorded to create a final product that is appropriate for broadcast and fits the director's vision. High levels of inventiveness, technical proficiency, and the capacity to operate under pressure are necessary for this position.
Job instructions
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software, such Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer, is required for video editing.
- Audio editing: Working knowledge of programs such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or others.
- Excellent color grading and correction abilities, with familiarity with programs such as DaVinci Resolve.
- Motion Graphics: Proficiency in using Adobe After Effects and other visual effects tools for motion graphics.
- Storytelling: Profound narrative construction and storytelling abilities.
- A high degree of accuracy and focus on detail is evident in all facets of editing.
- Time management: The capacity to oversee several tasks and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Communication: Proficient in both written and spoken language, with a clear capacity to express original thoughts.
