- Admits the patient and releases them.
- Preserves personal hygiene and ensures the patient's comfort.
- Attends to the patient's dietary requirements
- Keeps the patient area tidy and secure.
- Administers and upholds ward procedures and policies.
- Attends doctor's rounds.
Job instructions
- Gives and assumes control of the patient's and the ward's supplies and equipment.
- Maintains the Ward's orderliness.
- Preserves the ward's equipment's safety.
- Sets up and verifies ward supplies.
- Fill out the Lotus Notes with a brief report on the patient's progress, and send a copy to the nursing supervisor.
